Downhill Willows was started in 2014 by singer, songwriter and producer Kenneth Estrada y Santiago, who wrote songs inspired by the genres 70s RnB, 90s Dream Pop and Noise Rock. Before guitarist Giuseppe Zettier left the three piece for personal reasons, he wrote the guitars for the song 'Machines' and parts of the lyrics of 'End's Anthem'. Drummer Mario Graute (former bass player) and singer and bass player Kenneth Estrada y Santiago (former guitarist), were later joined by singer and guitarist Stefan Sebekow, who also engineered and recorded by the band's first self-titled record Downhill Willows at the WAVE Studios in Berlin. In 2016 the band tourd through Germany an Europe. Inthe middle of the recording sessions of their second album, the band broke up in 2017.
